An early version of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” and a recording of METALLICA performing with Marianne Faithfull are among the mountain of tapes from the old Windmill Lane recording studios in Ireland that are waiting to be reclaimed by the artists or recording companies that recorded them.
More than 1,000 tapes are filling up the attic in the new Windmill Lane studios.
If the two-inch multi-track tapes are not reclaimed by May, they will be destroyed.
