Where:

Categories:

Come show us your musical talents and get a chance to move on to the final round at the end of the month where finalist will compete for $150 cash and three hours of recording time at Aggie Central Station!

Rules:

- Each artist/group gets 3 songs or 10 minutes to perform. If we have more than 9 groups signed up, this goes down to 2 songs and seven minutes.

- Electrified instruments are allowed, but only if they go direct or have small amplifiers, in which case they will be turned down to minimum. No full bands. The general rule is, if it can’t be set up in 3 minutes or less, we don’t want it.

- We do not allow singers to sing to tracks, this isn’t karaoke. If you are a hip hop MC, you can use tracks but only if they are original and have no main vocals in them.

- Want to win? Bring lots of friends! However, they must stay until the end of the night to vote.

Music, art, & booze

When:
March 15, 2014 @ 7:00 pm
Where:
Erika's House

Hello ! Scott will be out of town Saturday night, and I thought it would be a great time to get together for general fun and shenanigans. As most of you know, besides science, I can’t live without good music and some art! So I thought we could get together and share. :)
Please bring:
Your favorite album (I can play records or an iPod/iPhone)
A type of booze (beer/wine/liquor) to share
Art supplies!
I have some sketching stuff (charcoal, graphite pencils, colored pencils), but anything you’d like to bring would be awesome. Thought we could hang out, listen to tunes, have some snacks, drink, chat and be artsy (if you’re into that kind of thing). :)
Hopefully the weather will be nice enough we can hang outside and have a fire.

And please feel free to invite friends, just let me know.
