The OZ Museum is hosting Night at the Museum on Friday, September 26th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. This event is going to be an evening where our favorite Oz characters come to life with the help of Oz historian John Fricke. This evening is also going to help bring awareness to the fundraising of the OZ Museum facade. Twenty-six schools are participating in this year’s Band Day, which includes the annual parade that will begin at 1 p.m. in the McCain Auditorium parking lot then proceed east down Poyntz Avenue, ending at the Manhattan Town Center.

The City of Manhattan is hosting a community Q&A event to address questions about changes to the area’s flood maps and flood insurance requirements. This event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Tuesday, September 30th at the Manhattan Fire Station Headquarters, 2000 Denison Avenue.
The workshop “Basic iPad” will be held on Tuesday, October 7th at 2:00 pm, the first of two iPad workshops this fall. Although all levels are welcome, this class is designed for beginners with very little experience with their tablet, and focuses on exploring the basic setup and navigation of this popular device.
