TAP is putting on a Winter Senior Show!
A dark, dark Christmas comedy. Scandal erupts at the North Pole when one of Santa’s eight tiny reindeer accuses him of sexual harassment.
As mass media descends upon the event, the other members of the sleigh team demand to share their perspectives, and a horrific tale of corruption and perversion emerges, which seems to implicate everyone from the littlest elf to the tainted Saint himself.
With each deer’s confession, the truth behind the shocking allegations becomes clearer and clearer. …and murkier and murkier.

Mark’s moving out of his current house, but first, he’s making it into a six-hour art gallery!
Mark is also a figuratively-speaking starving artist. He would prefer not to make that literal, and would love to be able to continue eating in 2014!
So stop by on Sunday between 3pm & 9pm to look at original art, and buy really cheap art. Guess what! Those two arts are the same art. And you don’t just have to look & buy! You can talk, too. And eat and drink. Wow. It’ll be great.
Where: 712 Leavenworth Street. We’re the 2-story mint-green house adjacent to the corner-apartment building’s parking lot. Mind the crumbling stone steps.
Drink: We’ll definitely have mixers, but only MIGHT have actual alcohol so BYOB unless you’re feelin’ lucky. …punk.
Food: We’ll have crackers, hummus, grapes & other nibblers, but if you want me to cook you dinner, this is not the night for it. There are probably some rabbits in the back you can catch.
Dress: Casual classiness is encouraged, but by no means enforced.
Art on display:
Pen works – observational drawings done while I was bell-ringing for Salvation Army last year. Buildings, telephone poles, and (after I’d put on my gloves) really messily-drawn cars. Some matted, all original & cheap.
Oil works – paintings! Some finished, some not. Some local, some not. Some done en plein air, some abstract. None framed. All purchasable or reservable (for those not quite finished), with an even-cheaper limited-edition print-order option for all.
Prints – High-quality reproductions of past paintings and ALSO some of my best photography, including this set: http://www.markahrens.net/visualarts/naturalwit/1.php
Some matted, some not.
Prints-to-Order – I’ll have my laptop out & cycling through past paintings and photographs, which you can order as prints! Unfortunately, prints would not arrive until mid-January. Call it a post-Christmas present to cheer up the January doldrums.
Improptu sketching / One-dollar-commissions – I’ll likely have a pad & pen/charcoal in my hand the entire afternoon/evening, so if you show up, there’s a decent chance I’ll do a random sketch of you that you can have. If you actually want me to FOCUS on you (or someone else!) and do a good job, it’s a $1 commission.
Parking: If you’re just stopping by for a bit, the street will have to do.
If you’re hanging out for a little while (which is fine as long as you’re nice and don’t smell funky!), you should be able to park right behind our house. Go down the alley between Leavenworth/Osage and 8th/Juliette. Park practically & considerately, please.
Throw any questions on the wall below.
Invite anyone who you think would enjoy it.
See you there!
