Music lovers worldwide are captivated, swept up in the surging wave of modern folk as heard in the likes of Mumford and Sons, The Avett Brothers, Neon Trees, The Civil Wars and others. Organic, acoustic and packed with live energy and freedom, it’s the unpolished imperfection and open invitation to sing along that has catapulted these artists into the spotlight and up the charts.
Unpolished. Imperfect. Freedom.
Come join us in a night of worship with All Sons & Daughters. Presented by Crestview Christian Church, Manhattan Christian College and University Christian Church.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. The evening begins at 7pm (doors open at 6pm).

Your favorite rock’n'roll band, Chris Aytes & The Good Ambition, are returning to Manhattan at long last, and in celebration of their new “Stereo Delay EP” they’ll be piling into Sisters Of Sound Records, your favorite record shop, for a raucous live performance of the entire EP!
Recorded with two guitar amps and stereo delay effected guitar, this performance will recreate that setup, and give you a unique opportunity to experience CA&theGA in the middle of the action, as they’ll each set up in different areas of the shop for this set.
Of course, they’ll have fresh copies of the EP to sell, and then they’ll be rockin’ & rollin’ at Blackstone Tavern with Red Kate and Dead Sevens following the SoS set!

More a date to remember than an event, to show support and awareness for self, family, friends or strangers who may do harm to themselves. Remember everyone’s reasons are different and this does not mean they are sick or suicidal. Take the time to listen or educate people or yourself on this topic. You may not know it but there is a good chance you know someone that takes part in SI. Orange support ribbons and/or bracelets are a common symbol for this cause. The is a national event.

LAST OPEN ROUND!
Come show us your musical talents and get a chance to move on to the final round at the end of the month where finalist will compete for $150 cash and three hours of recording time at Aggie Central Station!
- Each artist/group gets 3 songs or 10 minutes to perform. If we have more than 9 groups signed up, this goes down to 2 songs and seven minutes.
- Electrified instruments are allowed, but only if they go direct or have small amplifiers, in which case they will be turned down to minimum. No full bands. The general rule is, if it can’t be set up in 3 minutes or less, we don’t want it.
- We do not allow singers to sing to tracks, this isn’t karaoke. If you are a hip hop MC, you can use tracks but only if they are original and have no main vocals in them.
- Want to win? Bring lots of friends! However, they must stay until the end of the night to vote.
