The Wonder Bread Years with Pat Hazell

November 3, 2013 @ 4:00 pm
Forum Hall

A fresh and funny slice of Americana and pop culture.

A salute to the baby boomer generation, “The Wonder Bread Years” stars former original writer for “Seinfeld” Pat Hazell. This fast-paced, sidesplittingly funny production hysterically walks the line between stand-up and theater. You will laugh and savor the past like never before. Impact Weekly calls it “pitch perfect” and “laugh-out-loud material.” “The Wonder Bread Years” will be the funniest trip down memory lane you’ve ever taken.

Showtime declared Pat Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. A Tonight Show veteran, critically acclaimed playwright and contributing commentator to National Public Radio, he is recognized for his genuinely funny Americana humor and salute to pop culture.

“Milk-snorting funny!” – Jerry Seinfeld

“Infectiously charming!” – LA Weekly

“The Show” feat Echopod, Field Day Jitters & Sidhion

November 30, 2013 @ 10:00 pm
Aggie Central Station, 1115 Moro Street, Manhattan, KS, 66502, United States

The Manhattan Music Coalition, in efforts to support all the excellent musicians in the MHK area, presents to you, The Show.

The Show is a music cornucopia, a melting pot, a swilling and swirling of the finest music, from every genre, that Manhattan and the surrounding area has to offer.

Three genres. Three acts. One stage. The Show.

For our fourth show, we have the synth-rock shadows of Echopod, the explosive joy of The Field Day Jitters, and the debut of Sidhion’s live looping freakout. This night will melt ACS a little more into the depths of the Ville.

This event also serves as the monthly fundraiser for the MMC, your donations powering the promotional and educational efforts of the Coalition in the MHK area.

Come one, come all…to The Show.
