Jimmy Kimmel revealed was behind the video of a girl twerking alone in her apartment when she accidentally sets herself on fire.
The video has been viewed more than 9.3 million times on YouTube since it was posted Tuesday and has been picked up by news outlets.
ABC’s late-night host revealed on his show Monday night that he and his team were behind the video, which stars stuntwoman Daphne Avalon. He said the video was posted with no promotion on social media or anywhere else and still managed to rack up the huge amount of views in less than a week.
Avalon also appeared on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, where she that admitted some people who know her — including a high school boyfriend — thought the video was real.
Added Kimmel, “Even though the video was fake, that did not stop hundreds of news outlets from showing it. Some people even blamed Miley Cyrus, as if this was her fault.
Kimmel then aired a montage of clips from shows that reported on the video as if it were real, including ABC’s “The View”, CBS’ “The Talk” and MSNBC.
Before Sharon Osbourne married Ozzie, she had a fling with comedian Jay Leno.
That’s right…they banged chins.
On the daytime show, “The Talk,” she shared that not long after first moving to the United States at 25 years old, she met Leno at a club where he was performing and they liked each other.
Sharon explained that they eventually had a fling, but added that “it turned out that “the fling was more fling for me and not fling enough for him because a couple of months into it, he brought around the real love of his life for me to meet.”
Sharon was apparently referring to Mavis Leno, Jay’s wife of 33 years.
Metallica have released two more clips from their upcoming movie “Metallica Through The Never.”
The movie will be released in IMAX theatres on September 27th and more theatres on October 4th. It will have Metallica playing a live concert and one of their crew members is sent on a mission to bring something back to the band.

The majority of the skills that made the “must-have” list are tech-related, with “Googling” in the number one spot. On the other hand, the top 20 list of the least-needed skills includes sewing, knowing how to bake bread and having nice handwriting. How quaint.
