So it’s legal to have up to an ounce in California… pretty sure this ranks in the 2 to 3 pound area. Best part is the guy threatening to take that officer to court; kind of a half-baked plan.
Slow week? Maybe. There’s still some new goodies out today for your sensory enjoyment though!
Dead Island: Riptide – Open world RPG style gameplay that allows characters to go anywhere in the game’s zombie infested environments. Also has four playable characters from the first game. (PS3, Xbox 360)
Star Trek (PS3, Xbox 360) – Original story that takes place aster the 2009 Star Trek reboot, and voiced by the cast of the movie.
Gangster Squad – Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Sean Penn. Los Angeles, 1949: A secret crew of police officers led by two determined sergeants work together in an effort to take down the ruthless mob king Mickey Cohen who runs the city. Also, it has a 32% rating at Rotten Tomatoes…
Rob Zombie – Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor
If I could only buy one thing out today, I’d have to go with the Zombie! It seems like the best option to me as far as price/replay value goes! Come back next week!
Why has nobody done this before now?
Chris Weir may not be Bruce Wayne, and he may not be saving his town from villains int he dark of the night, but he DOES have a pretty sweet Bat Cave that he built by himself. Looks like a great place to watch the Super Bowl.
Ever wonder what a fly looks like under a super powerful microscope? Maybe Sea water? Shark skin? It all looks pretty badass!

A crook walked into a Spring Hill, FL pizza joint to rob the place and the clerk just laughed and said ‘no.’
The thief waltzed in with a knife and a ski mask and demanded the cash. The clerk thought he was joking told him “no” twice.
And it worked. The crook took off.
As he was leaving he took off his ski mask and employees got a good look at him.
A witness followed him and called the cops. They caught him exactly 12 minutes after he tried to rob the place.
Damn. I’d like to think If we were half as dedicated to our jobs in America, a lot less crap would go wrong? – Dan
Out of all the words in the English language, there’s only a handful you’re not allowed to say on TV, wouldn’t you just avoid those??? Either way, luckily for us, this rookie anchor went straight for the gold!
The bassist for 3 Doors Down was charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication after he was involved in a crash that killed another driver in Tennessee.
Todd Harrell was driving his Cadillac CTS late on Friday when he clipped a pickup truck. The truck went out of control, fell down an embankment and overturned. A 47-year-old man was killed in the crash. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.
Harrell showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests. He admitted he had drank hard cider and taken the prescription drugs Lortab and Xanax.
Harrell is also accused of bringing controlled substances into the jail. A search at the booking room found a plastic bag hidden in his sock with eight Xanax pills, 24 Oxycodone pills and four Oxymorphone pills.
3 Doors Down’s website said in a statement that the members were “deeply saddened” by the man’s death.
They wrote: ”Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.”
In a dramatic turn of events that began to unfold late Thursday after an MIT Police officer was shot dead and his cruiser stolen, one of the Boston Marathon Bombing suspects is now dead with the other on the loose following a shootout with the FBI and the National Guard.
After the shooting that left the MIT police officer dead, the two suspects committed an armed-robbery at a 7-11 and stole another vehicle, briefly kidnapping the driver. The driver was later released uninjured.
The stolen vehicle was tracked down in Watertown where an intense shootout occurred. The suspects were armed with guns as well as explosive devices that they hurled at law enforcement. That shootout resulted in the death of one suspect (wearing a black hat in photos released by the FBI). The suspect reportedly had explosives strapped to his chest.
The second suspect (wearing a white hat in the FBI photos) is still on the loose and believed to be in Watertown. Local transportation, public schools and businesses are on lockdown this morning as authorities search for him. He is believed to be armed and extremely dangerous, with explosives possibly strapped to his chest.
The following video has audio of the fierce shootout:
