The music video for Linkin Park’s new song “Guilty All The Same” is more of a interactive video game than a music video. Using Project Spark, a video game where people can go in and create their own worlds and game themselves. Here an example of what the game looks like accompanied by Linkin Park’s newest single.
Back in January, Freddy Scott created a hilarious parody song capturing the core of a Nine Inch Nails song. Now he has released a video which brilliantly parodies Nine Inch Nails music videos as well. It’s pretty spot on.
It’s been 40 years since KISS released their debut album and they are just now getting the cover of Rolling Stone.
The cover is an image of the band’s 1975 photo with the original lineup: Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, plus Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, who were both gone from the band by the early Eighties.
The cover story tells the story of the band and looks at the founding members’ lives and careers.
The story revealed that even Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have had their differences. Stanley said: “We’ve always seen each other as brothers. What we seem to be at odds at is how you treat your brother. Gene’s priority, by far, has always been himself. And he’s not one to let anyone else’s feelings or contributions get in the way.”
They also explained exactly why they won’t be reuniting for a performance at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Stanley and Simmons offered to allow the former members to jam with the current lineup of guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer, but Ace and Peter found that insulting.
Peter Criss said: “I won’t be disrespected. How can you put me in the Hall of Fame and then tell me to go sit over there in the corner while another guy puts on my makeup and plays? That’s an injustice. To the fans, too.”
Simmons explained that Frehley and Criss “no longer deserve to wear the paint.”
He said: “The makeup is earned. Just being there at the beginning is not enough. And if you blow it for yourself, it’s your fault. You can’t blame your band members. ‘Oh, look what happened to me. Oh, poor me.’ Look at my little violin. I have no sympathy.”
Frehley said: “The reason they don’t want to perform with me and Peter is because the last time they did, they had to do a reunion tour. We play three songs, the fans go crazy. They don’t want to open up a can of worms.”
The story also includes Gene Simmons saying his touring days are almost be done.
He said: “I’m 64 now. Three more tours. Two, if I have a life change of some kind.”
The magazine goes on sale Friday but you can check out the story online right now.

The tribute album is being released on April 1 and also features tracks by Motörhead, Tenacious D and Anthrax plus one-off supergroups featuring members of Judas Priest, Slipknot and Dio’s band.
