The official trailer for the KORN documentary, “Reconciliation,” is out. Most importantly, the film reveals exactly how guitarist Brian “Head” Welch returned to the band, his past drug issues and more.
The film will be included with the deluxe edition of KORN’s new album, “The Paradigm Shift”, which dropsOctober 8th.
In the documentary trailer, Welch says: ”In 2005, it’s a blur because I was on like three different kinds of methamphetamine, but all I know is I wasn’t happy, I didn’t like being in the band, I didn’t like most of the guys and I didn’t like myself more than anything. Being a drug addict, not liking your surroundings and trying to raise a daughter all at the same time; it just doesn’t really work. Something needed to give. Something needed to change and I didn’t care what the cost was gonna be. I needed to live. I needed to come back to life because I was almost dead.”
Singer Jonathan Davis said: ”You know, it’s just all those years of work and being able to be in a band this long with the guys. And having Head back bringing, you know, that old chemistry back with him with Munky on the rock side and I was on the electronic side. It was good having the compromise on both sides. It was just good for the creative process.”
