Some disturbing news coming from the Motörhead camp, as they have canceled a show in Milan, Italy that was supposed to take place tomorrow. The Facebook page for the event is written in Italian and following what seems to be a pretty bad translation off the event’s Facebook page, it appears that frontman Lemmy Kilmister has had a health issue involving an acute hematoma. No word on the severity of the issue, but they are being quiet about it on the official Motörhead website, only saying this:
“We are sorry to report that Motörhead will be forced to cancel the appearance in Milan, Jun 25th. The band regret it very much but will make it up to all the fans as soon as possible.”
Whatever the deal is, let’s hope Lemmy’s okay and that they can get back on track as soon as possible! Motörhead still plans to release their new album, “Aftershock” in September.
