Drewcifer's Metal Radio career spans 20 years going back to when he and his roommate took over the long-running "MetalHead" program on Kansas State's 91.9FM "DB-92" in 1990 before the station abandoned the coveted College Radio format.  Drewcifer left Kansas to head to Los Angeles for several years, and not only headed up the Radio Promotions departments at Century Media and Nuclear Blast Records (not to mention Liquore And Poker Music) but also launched "The Vault" program on the mighty KNAC.com, a show that still runs to this day.  After returning to Kansas he's manned the Metal helm at K-Rock since the Fall of 2006, and recently was asked to host the 2009 FMQB Halloween Special Metal Sampler which is sent to over 200 Active Rock and Rock stations in the country.  He also contributes interviews and album reviews to the killer website www.HellrideMusic.com, Home of the Heavy.

Drewcifer is as Old-School as they come; but he keeps his metallic ear tuned to all new bands and releases as well.  The Pit is made up mostly of new Metal music, but several older and classic songs are spun each week giving all fans of Heavy Metal a great listening experience.  He is a huge fan of BEER and MUSIC in general and manages to hit many Metal tours and shows in the local and regional area.  He's hung out with Lemmy, Dio, Ozzy and many of his other Metal heroes, and still travels far and wide in order to see them perform.
